After not caring about politics most of my life, I became very involved in the resistance over the last 5 years. Marched and protested the most I’ve ever done in my life. Wrote postcards, signed up new voters and drove to Modesto to canvas (first time ever) for Josh Harder in 2018. Sent angry emails to Congress. Helped launch a local chapter of SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) in San Mateo County. Worked with Get Out The Vote and wrote hundreds more letters/postcards for 2020. Canvassed in Modesto again. Was in a brief video on the Tamron Hall Show about standing together against injustices!
