2020 taught me so many things! It was rough, but it pushed me into doing the things that scare me the most. I closed my salon after 25 years of being a hairstylist. Doing hair during a pandemic provided clear vision into the things that I was tolerating — people, places, things, beliefs and philosophies. So I let go of all tolerations. As a gay man, I hate being tolerated; I want acceptance, not tolerance. So I closed a business that was hurting me physically and mentally. Said goodbye to people on the other side of the fence who support racism and bigotry. I feel freed. I started a new business during uncertain times and it’s exhilarating. I’m a full time psychic astrologer and Feng Shui consultant. It’s so fun to take tools that I learned over the years of being a stylist to help people in a different way.
